Traditionally crafted in one of Portugal’s oldest footwear factories, Skipper is made with one of the most eco-friendly fibres in the world, SEAQUAL™ nylon, to efficiently combat marine plastic pollution. SEAQUAL™ nylon upper
Skipper’s nylon upper is made with plastic waste dragged out by SEAQUAL™ from the ocean bed.
Cork insole
When compressed, cork stays tough, breathable, comfortable and above all durable.
Organic laces. Recycled lining
Our cotton laces are organic and bleach-free. The lining is made from recycled cotton.
Recycled rubber
Most sneaker soles are made from plastic. Our Skipper outer soles are made from natural and recycled rubber

Our eyelets are made from recycled aluminium cans.

Founded in 2016, SEAQUAL™ produces sustainable fibres created by upcycling deep sea plastic waste. For every kilogram of fibre produced, a kilogram of waste is removed from the oceans.
